So where would I post a thread about a rock and the whole tumbling process? I'm used to bit-tech.net and building water-cooled computers. People would post their work, step by step. I wanted to do a work log like "this is a rock, Hwere are pics, some numbers by the pics, try to ID them, then the tumbling process. IS that allowed? Which bored?
Thanks! I actually bought a book on rocks. I think I might be a closet rock hound. pocket genius rocks and minerals

I'm no admin, but if it is full of pictures, everyone here will appreciate it. If you are planning to tumble the rocks, go to one of the tumbling subsections (like this one). Some people put WIP (work in progress) in their thread titles for these types of step by step process photo-logs.
Go for it, I would love to see your process, and I am sure you will get a lot of pointers from the very experiences folks here

I think that would be well received here. This section, the photo section or general rocks section would all probably be good.
