glennz01 I cannot do that with the wearable. It will flatten it out and I need the angle. Thanks though. unless the angle is more than it looks (it looks like it only goes to the center of your stone) just move that part back and forth on the edge to the center on the same angle... when you bring it back to the very edge move it almost until the rock is off the wheel. the key thing is not to hold the stone in one spot where the wheel can heat up and to get water covering the area sufficiently... if you notice the wheel puling more on your stone it is getting too hot... you can always apply pressure and back off the wheel in a fast pace.

glennz01 if I could hit that exact angle in the middle of the wheel I wouldn't be on here with this problem. If I go towards the center of the wheel the other side jetting out will hit it too and flatten out. The edge is necessary.

I mean start off the wheel at the angle of your piece and move it inward until you come to the other angle then go back to where you started... only do this fast... If you try it (even with the machine off) you should see what I mean.

broseph82, are the dark spots still showing up on your cab(s) after cleaning your wheel w/ vinegar? I purchased a Chinese-made 280 grit diamond resin wheel from Arrowhead Lapidary that is very LoUd and leaves dark areas on my cabs very similar to the ones you shared in your pics, and I use a drip system (enough for a good shower). I think it's a 'bad' wheel. Have used the Covington diamond resin wheels that I think are also the same ones used on the CabKing that I really liked, but they are also made in China.

Yes the black spots are still there after I cleaned it! I think it may be the wheel too.

broseph82 Jimi, if you don't mind that I ask, where did you purchase the wheel? Does the wheel make a loud noise (not sure how to describe it) when you cab? Mine is so loud that I have to wear earplugs. Irritating. lol. One of the OA members said that he had the 'noise' issue with a diamond resin wheel from Covington. I keep hoping the noise will stop after the wheel is broken-in.
