Big boys. Just stuck them in the 14 pound Vibrasonic with roundish and smallish mix of media. 4 pounds snakeskin/10 pounds media SiC 220 plus sugar. Will watch every 8 hours cause Chuck said to. He polishes bricks. Has anyone seen such big guns, hoping the media will dig the lime concretions in the nooks quickly:

The inner color of your seems like a different color then the ones I tumbled (from captbob). I seen these listed on ebay as Angel snakeskin agates. Must be a variety of different types? Do you know where yours came from? Here's a link to the ones I did. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/71262/6-22-snake-skins-allThey shine as good as an agate I have ever tumbled. blew me away. Those are from a very old collection, either from Rome, Oregon area, or more likely northwestern Nevada. If you have been seeing info on the earthquake swarms in Nev., that's the area. Larry

Chuck Yes Chuck, this is some high grade easy to polish agate. Will do 24 hours in vibe with SI 220 and take inventory. Looks to slow, so they will go into the rotary w/80 grit. Very similar to removing the white layer off of the coral.
