Got a few done the other day- a ringstone size cab with a tangle of thick moss- really cool in person. covellite- I had to picture the side because of the reflections. This piece has lots of magenta at certain angles that I couldn't photograph. sonora sunrise set really long gaspeite with a fabulous polish freeforms of rhodochrosite- both of these were cut from 2 lumps of rock. Hey, I'll take them how I can get them. pinolith- this has been the most stable piece that I've had. Took a great polish, too. Thanks for looking..... now it's time to do some wrapping.

Gorgeous, love that rhodochrosite. I've been struggling with some chrysocollo similar to that sonoroa set you've got. Wow that stuff is a challenge.

My biggest challenge seems to be in getting it preformed. If I can get it cut without it crumbling, the rest is fairly easy. The set there is very thin. I didn't think I'd managed because it is so soft, but this turned out to be the best Sonora that I've worked. Thank goodness- as expensive as it is getting!
