U got it Gr! I knapp down to a one molecule wide edge. Knapping is a blood sport, u get cut a lot. The knife is already sharp, it's the antler point that u would make a little sharper.

I saw an interesting fact on facebook the other day about Obsidian. for one it can be the sharpest substance known. It can actually so sharp that it can cut between the cells in a surgury. it is still used in some surgurys today. Yep correct. There are high end obsidian scalpels out there. Google that.

Yee haw I finally left home!!! Made my first stop at Jamesp house. What a great plsce. The deer rut is starting and the first hunter got here this afternoon and he got a real big body and fat 6 pointer! James lives secluded and has a totally unique lifestyle with his wonderful Denise. How he got such a cheerful and beautiful woman we will never know ! LOL
The horse, Chips is pocketed in the pines and totally at home here! My dog Mic loves the many ponds, ditches and bedding plant water things! Plus he has a 5 month old Ridgeback puppy to run and play with!!!
This place is great!
Thanks Jim n Denise for letting me stay two nites!

Not met a lot of people with a broad range of book sense and common sense. Bill as seasoned and experienced as a man can get. Things come easy to him. A 'how to book' on traveling for rock hunters and general 'living life to fullest' in order. The book would best be understood from those with a background of hard knocks and open mindedness. Dang good engineer too. Solar powered and off any grid rig he built should be patented. Thought he would plug into the welder receptacle. never happened. Half a dozen car size batteries and solar charger is all it takes for Bill.
Mic the dog was a trip. A certain breed traind by farm hands out at a western ranch. I think Mic would stay where told until getting a release command for days. Had a 4 Ridgeback intro and knew just how to handle them.
Chips the horse as gentle as can be. Believe they is a horse whisperer behind that horse.
Some folks got a gift with living life.

Can you say ooboob, duststorm,56 mph high gusts?
Stuck in between Las Cruces Nm and Deming Nm! Sitting parked for the duration in a pullover on Rt 10. Gonna get cold too!
Horse stuck in the trailer too, can't exactly picket Chips here! LOL. He will be ok, can feed n water him overnite in the trailer but then need to offload and exercise as soon as possible 2moro.
First the wind blew, then further on the dust started then the faraway mountains got foggy looking with dust then the wind started shaking the truck then the mountains disappeared in the dust then the nearby hills disappeared in the dust then the camper started rocking and slamming up n down then I prayed to God for a exit then he provided a big pullover area on the interstate then I pulled over and parked it. Got outside and could hardly walk to the horse trailer to check on Chops then looked and could ed see the far Lanesboro the interstate across the median strip!!!! Not fun, not fun!
One of my slide in pickup campers tiedowns is bent!

Looked out the window and thought the dust looked a lot better. It's 3.00 pm mountain time. Went out to give Chips a snack of alfalfa hay. It's mudding! What's mudding, well I just made it up! It's raining sideways and it's muddy water!!! My luck it's gonna snow, wonder if the snow would be muddy brown! LOL
I feel a spagetti with coleslaw supper coming on! Won't be as good as Denise makes but I will enjoy it!
