I doubt there will be a court battle at all. The Feds will simply bring the Syrians in and set them up in govt housing wherever they like, complete with all government benefits, all of which the American taxpayers will pay for. Obama will not ask permission from the states, but will use our tax dollars to bring in federal officers or troops to arrest anyone who messes with the invaders and sure as heck threaten to deny federal funds to any state that fights the administrations moves. Frankly, though the state governors have a good idea here, it's just posturing to satisfy public opinion. No one can cure the militant intransigence and stupidity of this president. He just does whatever he wants and damn public opinion and our other politicians, that are supposed to check his power sit around with their thumbs up their asses ..Mel

Shit you should see it here in Austin.almost like Mexico already.pretty much all road crews, framing crews, landscapers.they work for nothing and the majority do shit work and don't stand behind there work....... Sorry if someone gets butt hurt over my statement but it's a scary truth. Dave I worked on a new three story motel in Salt Lake City where the Mexican Sheet Rock Crew got upset with the plumbers and sawed in half the sewer lines in the bottom floor before putting on the sheet rock. Problem not found until the first customers started flushing the upper toilets.

Dave, Not to speak harshly of your city, but to me, Austin is the most unTexas town I've ever been in. Being from Commiefornia, it feels exactly like San Francisco or parts of LA. How the heck did a city like that get to be in Texas anyway?......Mel Mel, I lived in Austin from 1945 to 1953. It became that way as control freaks moved there seeking power in the capitol city. Remember Lindon Johnson and Lady Bird? Normal people that just want to get along let it get out of hand.

The refugees who have arrived from Syria since 2012 have been placed in 130 towns and cities. They are among the most vulnerable people in the war: single mothers and their children; religious minorities; victims of violence or torture. Some of them have reached large cities like Houston, but most have been sent to more affordable, medium-size cities by the nine voluntary agencies that handle refugee resettlement. Boise, Idaho, has accepted more refugees than New York and Los Angeles combined; Worcester, Mass., has taken in more than Boston. President Obama has said the United States will accept five times as many Syrian refugees this year as the total admitted over the last four years.

I'd like to see some military action in force myself. That is exactly what ISIS wants! Here is the plan: We play at war, upset the Muslim Masses, and they take over the world. We have two choices, Go to real all out war, or become Muslims - to be slaughtered later as is happening to the Blacks in Africa. Those that ignore the past are cursed to repeat it.

2,098 Syrian Muslim Refugees Allowed Into America, Only 53 Christianswww.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/11/17/discrimination-2098-syrian-muslim-refugees-allowed-into-america-only-53-christians/Despite President Obama’s sanctimonious proclamation Monday that America does not have a religious test when it comes to admitting refugees into America, the actual math appears to show the complete opposite is true. According to CNSNews.com, who looked at the data, only 53 Syrian Christian refugees have been allowed into America, compared to 2,098 Syrian Muslims. While everyone of every faith is suffering in a Syrian civil war that has been further complicated by the successful creation of an Islamic State throughout much of the country, there is no questions that Syrian Christians have been singled out for the worst kind of persecution under ISIS, including mass beheadings that do not discriminate against innocent women and even small children.
Nevertheless, despite this widely publicized bloodbath, since 2011, only 53 Christians have been offered refuge in the United States.During his snippy news conference Monday, President Obama raged — not against the terrorists who murdered more than a hundred innocents in Paris, but against his American critics, specifically Republicans, who are uncomfortable with the idea of resettling tens of thousands of Syrian refugees here in America.
The F.B.I. has already admitted that it cannot adequately vet these refugees, and ISIS has promised to use the Syrian refugee process as a means to infiltrate the West with terrorists. Early reports indicate that two, or maybe three, of the gunmen that hit Paris Friday snuck in through the refugee program.
About those Republicans who suggested we bring in Syrian refugees who are Christians, the President raged “We don’t have religious tests to our compassion We do not close our hearts to these victims of such violence and somehow start equating the issue of refugees with the issue of terrorism.”
According to the actual numbers, though, the president is lying. We do have a religious test, and for plausible deniability, one that is administered by the United Nations. And as a result, those refugees being discriminated are both Christians and those who are the most victimized and persecuted in Syria.

So I am watching all this "refugee" stuff on several news channels today (it's either that or clean the gutters before it rains tomorrow!) and there are several of the talking heads saying "we need to do our fair share" - regarding the "Syrian" refugee crisis and implying the U.S. needs to take in more refugees. NO ONE is mentioning the flood we have coming across our southern border! WE are ALREADY doing "our fair share"! Took a lot of searching on Google (no one seems to want to publish a number) but the best information I could find was from this CNN article - www.cnn.com/2014/12/19/us/dhs-immigration-statistics-2014/Stating that the number in 2014 was 486,651 *. Including (I think) 68,631 unaccompanied children. * That's the number of apprehensions. No telling how many more simply snuck in without being caught. What the hell are we supposed to do with unaccompanied children?? Oh yeah... support them. That number does not include the numbers coming from overseas, Cuba, Haiti, etc etc Bottom line: We are already taking in at least HALF A MILLION immigrants / refugees (what ever you want to call them) every year. Supporting most of them with our tax $$ too I would imagine. Isn't that "our fair share" enough?I think I'll go clean the gutters now before I have an aneurysm.

Who's going to pay for all these refugees? Here in the Northeast we can't even afford our schools. We've got people sleeping in the streets and food drives to help the needy for the Holidays. Potholes. Busted water mains. Who is going to pay? Washington already takes too much.

I'm sure many of you saw this but there was a soccer game between Greece and Turkey and the announcers asked for a moment of silence for the folks killed in Paris. The shouts of Allouah Akbar from the Muslim side of the stadium during the moment of silence were deafening. So, only a few of them are haters of the west and sympathizers with terrorists. How stupid does Obama think we are?....Mel

How stupid does Obama think we are?....Mel Well, we are stupid enough (as a nation) to elect him twice. And we're stupid enough (as a nation) to very possibly elect Hillary to what will amount to Obama's a third term. And we're stupid enough (as a nation) to buy into the schizoid propaganda about "immigration" you describe. The lack of distinction between "legal" and "illegal" is a stupid farce we've bought into (as a nation) for years now.
Let's see...the puppeteer co-President pulling the strings for the turd with ears is one Valerie Jarrett, born in Iran and a well-known Chicago Marxist:
www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/259172/communist-family-tree-valerie-jarrett-john-perazzo
The Director of our CIA, John Brennan, is very soft on Islam. For a deep investigation of the person who's running our most sensitive and secret intelligence agency, have a look at this:
www.discoverthenetworks.org/printindividualProfile.asp?indid=2577
There's much more but I think Obama has pretty accurately gauged the IQ level of the American electorate.
