Maybe get it wet and get a little closer? Brighter light/longer exposure would help too.

Where did these pieces come from? Southern Nevada. OK so random rocks picked up in the desert? Name them what you wish. There is no established trade name for random rocks from southern Nevada. Although I fail to see any lilac nor purple, your photos are color balance wrong and everything looks orange. Those are as good as any name.
