Wow, those are some *really* nice rocks, Snuffy. And I agree, that last one is intriguing with all the colors...thanks for the close-ups! Man, I wish we had rocks like ya'll have out there! Wanna swap some of your rocks for some of my mud and muck.<grin>

No doubt he would...let me till the garden and bring some rocks home. I'd dare to wager that he'd let me bring some rocks home even without tilling the garden. Rockhounds have gotta be some of the most generous folks around...

Nice collection there, we [ma and I] especially like the multi-colored one.

Nothing like a garden without rocks.

Snuffy, Thank you for posting the pictures! Those are very familiar rocks to what I find. I find a few rocks like the bottom right rock in the 4th picture. Is that Jasper? Also, what are the rocks on the right side of the 3rd picture? I find quite a few like that as well. It is funny that we could have so many similar rocks, but somehow the agates appear 65 miles south?! Thanks again for the information and photos.

Great pics Snuffy! Now those are very similar to what I'm used to seeing from the Brazos gravels and some, like the red jasper and the non shrinkwood woods could be from George West too....Mel
