This motor pulley ran two barrels @ 35 pounds for 3 years and four barrels @ 80 pounds for 3 more years. The abrasives did not help it's life span. Replacement is a solid one.

Will there be a church service, graveside, or memorial service at later date? In lieu of flowers make a donation to which charitable organization? Sorry to hear of your loss, but sounds like the pulley lived a good life and gave many a stone a good ride. If you need someone to talk to Jimi is available.

Can't go wrong with the Surplus Center solid pulleys. This pulley was already on the 1/3 HP motor. Yes it deserves reverence after tugging on that v-belt so many years. Perhaps a visit to the shrink is advisable.

Yeah, the SC pulleys seemed pretty hefty.
I don't think a visit to the shrink will do it any good, but that's just my professional opinion...

Hmmm, take that smaller piece and give it a slightly hammered finish. Then find a nice semi-translucent, colored rock big enough to cut a slab from that will fill the hole. Polish that slab up slicker'n a baby's first poop and mount it in the hole. Either hang it in front of a window as a sun-catcher or mount a smallish (LED?) light from the back side for wall hanging. It might even make an interesting desk what-not by mounting a piece of wood/metal to the back and cover it in heavy felt.
No pulley left behind....

Been busy with work and when not working .... trying to promote my online presence (i.e. etsy and Instagram) Oh yeah and working on the trailer and trying to get the interior set for our shows. Oh yeah and filling out applications for shows. I think there is more, but you get the idea.
How you been? Rocks here are still buried under lots of snow well maybe not lots... but the ground is frozen so all the same.

Just finished a web site from a web host company(WIX) and ready to hire a SEO person to get it seen. Mostly for the Atlanta area web searchers. A local competitor has my company name in his keywords and his web site comes up when searching my company name LOL. So pulling up sleeves and prepping for a little combat here. All is fair in love and war. Still hitting the show circuit ? Do you compete with your wife, your creations vs her creations or are you guys more of a team ? My wife is always bantering me about her sales and how much they surpass mine. Last year I was nipping at her heels all year and closed the year with a rash of sales exceeding hers. Ha, my turn to dump the bowl. guess you are looking forward to winter passing, no different here.

Yeah Shows start next month. And looking forward to it. No we don't compete. (well a little). But it is all about the bottom line for the day.
Winter... It would be nice if it went away.

Had another breakdown. Heard a whine in the tumbling area. Darn bearing in the 1/3HP twin shaft GE motor of the Viking vibe jackangeline. No fun replacing motor bearings. Replacement cost from supplier is $350 ! Must be 40 years old. Shows a pleasure in warm weather. Give me that floor heated barn of yours in the winter. I recently moved a little metal smith operation to the basement. The wood stove is down there. Talk about paradise.

(hats off) That pulley really touched you. Thanks for your reverence. Need to make a small casket out of tumbles and have a service.
