Went to a new place in Branson for lunch today and was surprised to see a deep fried hamburger on the menu! After asking the waitress a few questions, I decided to order it more as a novelty than expecting it to be good tasting. I chose the deep fried corn on the cob as a side dish just to complete the all fried food lunch Lettuce. check! Tomato. check! cheese. check! Pickles on the side and I was good to go! I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was and was not greasy like I expected. It seems they first cook the burger to your order, then pile everything on the bun as normal, but then dip the whole works in a batter and deep fry it to a crispy crunch. the deep fried corn was absolutely delicious!

Forgot to mention they also put bacon on there! Also had fried pickles as appetizer. Used to get the fried pickles at Applebee's all the time, but they quit serving them a couple years ago

What a death defying lunch! LOL! Sounds very... interesting. I'm not big on deep fried stuff (except yummy oysters). I think I would probably try it, though.

Are you in the south? Driving from California to South Carolina, seemed like everything on the menus was fried!
We loved the sweet tea everywhere.

Was on Rt. 66 in Kingman and stopped for lunch at a restaurant. They had a real chef at this diner. I had the half pound hamburger with mayo tomato and lettuce. It was a big baked on site kaiser bun. The chef slice the tomato to where all three slices were connected, that way they didna slide around, very cool. OK to the meat of the subject, get it??? Meat of the subject was one third ground bacon, one third ground sausage, and one third hamburger!!! It was crispy, crunchy and looked burnt black but wasn't and it was fantastic!!!

DH loves it and it is usually cheap with free refills. Sadly, I can't stand the stuff. Never could drink tea.

Well, come to my house and try to get my dog to shut up.
Hushing my puppy is impossible. (ba-dum CRASH ... "Oops, dropped the cymbal!")
