Rainbow wood round may be priced too low. I see that for $1500 regular Thanks, I have them both priced at $500 each just to move them, would even take $450 each on both, I have a lot more of those big rounds on hand just not displayed.

Very nice!!! I'm so happy you are doing well and enjoying it all. The name sounds ok to me. Sounds like it could be Native American, too, which works, as well. I only have one tiny criticism-- I think it is the first picture with the case with the black bottom- take some tape and stick it to those white flakes and get them out of there. Esthetics. I think it would just look so much nicer, the flecks really stand out. I love the bubble gum machine and sand box- great ideas! lol...Thanks, I do have it cleaned up now. Those were flakes off of a pink houlite specimen. We are Native American and my wife is deep into the metaphysical, Reiki, healing side of the rock & mineral world. That case with the wire wrap is solid 14k wrapped stones...Not my work, a friend of mine does it and has over 150 pieces done that he wants me to sell for him. I still need to price them and he's giving me 40% of the sale.

not sure on the spelling it's the New pink crystal stuff that resembles soft Calcite or Selenite. Very fragile...

The Halite pieces will "melt" if they get too humid. May want to warn remind customers about such. I'd be kinda upset to spent 50 bucks on a rock and not know humidity or water could ruin it. Can you imagine someone washing one to get the dust off? *snicker* Probably lose a customer that way... Price seems to be all about crystal formation quality and color. Just showed the link above for a quick example. A suggestion - hope you don't mind. If you could print out ID cards for your pieces, folks might appreciate that. Something under 5 bucks (whatever) may be a waste of time, but for more expensive pieces it may be a plus. A quality printed card that someone could keep showing the rock ID, location it is from and even add your shop name, website and phone # info in smaller print at the bottom. Like this: card above is just over half the size of a business card - we have all seen them The sellers web site info is at the bottom of the card, just cropped out. The price on a removable sticker = good idea. I'm sure there is some super easy computer program that would let you just type in the info on an entire sheet of cards at a time. Someone here may know the program. These cards sure help me from time to time. Sooo many rocks, I can't remember all the names and locations without a little help! For a few cents cost each, I believe they add a professional touch and folks would appreciate them. Along the same lines, we used to have a metaphysical shop here in town that has similar cards stating the name of the piece and what it was good for (metaphysically). I don't go there, but the cards were kinda cool if you are into that.

Mind?..I am appreciative and thankful for you or anybody else who shares they're input and gives me great advice and tips to run a successful rock shop. Thank you that is a great idea and would be very helpful to myself and customers. I am asked so many questions everyday as to what is what when it comes to minerals and it would really save a lot of my time and allow and theirs to have it labeled, such as the name, origin, healing properties, (if applicable) and location. This is all so New to me and although I have been too many shows and rock shops, I have not been as observant as I thought I was as too set up and display of material. I am learning a lot and thank you and everybody else for taking the time to help me out. Warm Regards, Sincerely...Mark...Visions Rock Shop...Oregon Coast...

Stopped by there ~10:45 this morning, hoped to see the store; not open, nobody around. Gotta have the store open in the summer to make it on the Oregon coast.

This is just awesome, my problem would be selling and not hoarding! I love the "candy" dispenser
