I am a diehard Buckeye. I get to most of the home games and an occasional away or bowl game. It was a hot one today but by the end of the season we usually are in full winter gear Pic from my seats O-H-I-O Bill

Well, that was an interesting first Saturday! I got worried during the Bama game...I really thought that male cheerleader was gonna drop that young lady!!! It looks like California didn't have a very good day...too bad. LSU going down was a surprise, but no skin off of my teeth. Auburn surprised me, if they could have mustered of much of an offense they would have taken down #2 Clemson without a doubt...impressive defense. They swapped out QB's too much. They will get better once the QB fog rises. Overall I'm happy to say........ ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!

Scott, that is a bunch of BS if you ask me....the situation between the bakery and Texas. Before long someone will get a copyright on either inhaling or exhaling (not sure which one)...boy, are we gonna be in trouble!!!!

Nebraska's punter was killed in a car wreck a few weeks before the season in a car wreck coming back from kicking camp.
In the first game yesterday at the 1st punting situation, Nebraska's punt unit went out in a 10 man formation- no punter because their punter was missing. Took a delay of game penalty. Fresno St declined the penalty.
Class act.

Ed, I'm confused about your mascot. It's an elephant, right? But it's called the Crimson Tide? Why arent they called the Elephants? Why are the elephants in the water? Are they bleeding? Is the tide actually elephant blood? It's all rather confusing. Anyhow, elephants are herbivores. My wolverines will have to be careful not to get stepped on, but they'll just start chewing on the legs and work their way up. Rob, so as not to leave you all dazed and confused (typical Michigan alumni).<sigh> The Red Elephant
Oh, the problem with those overgrown chipmunks is that before they get to nibble on the elephant's toenail they find themselves being a lonely grease spot beneath those huge feet....then the Michigan fight songs goes (in a high-pitched voice) something like "I'm a little grease spot, thin and flat...if I was smart I'd wear an Alabama hat!". I came across a red tide once and it stunk so bad it almost made me gag. I thought the team was named after that.

Seems to me that Johnny Football needs to take some ques from the Honey Badger. I'm glad to see Mathieu do good after a rocky start... thelab.bleacherreport.com/honey-badger/?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorialETA: This article can get a little dry at points, but is good. The Reader's Digest Condensed version is that Mathieu got booted off of the LSU football team and dashed his hope of getting to the NFL. He woke up and smelled the coffee and put his nose to the grindstone...scroll to the bottom of the story to read what kind of contract he managed to get! I still think these pro-players earn way more than they're worth, but a buy/sell is whatever two people are willing to exchange between themselves so...more power to him for being on one side of that transaction! Like I said, Manziel needs to read the Honey Badgers playbook! A good story....
