If you look closely at the microscope picture there is banding and areas of translucency which I thought was evidence of agitization. The material isn't granular but like shotgunner mentioned doesn't display conchoidal fracturing. I've got several pieces tumbling and it will be interesting how it turns out. Thanks all

Thanks all Granites can definitely polish in the tumbler. Specially the tight grained ones like yours.
