Those are some really nice rocks in those boxes. I can see that I will have to make some purchases of higher quality rocks and steal borrow my hubby's tile saw if I want to get in on one of these in the future.

The box was delivered to my office and I took a few minutes look through everything. Talk about a cabber's delight, lots of nice slabs in there. I've already pulled the few pieces I'll keep. Photos of my picks and replacements to come later and I'll get the box back on the road tomorrow. Heading your way next Tommy , you should have fun with this one.
Enjoyed looking at this piece.

I got the box yesterday and opened it to find an expertly packed box full of nice material. A lot I had never seen before, except in pictures. I enjoyed looking through it all and settled on the pieces I thought I could use. There's a bunch of high end slabs in there that deserve better than a tumbler, so I left those alone. The only problem I had was finding suitable replacement. There isn't much room in there for anything but more slabs and I don't keep many of those because I'm a tumbler and I don't have my own slab saw.
The box as I opened it.
What I took.
What I put in.
The box is now on it's way to Tommy.

Thanks Randy! - we are headed out for Quartzsite on Tuesday - If the box arrives in time I'll do my best to process it and get it back out before we go.

OK I've got the box in record time from Kentucky it seems. Wish I could drive there as fast - I'd go visit my relatives. For everyone down the line from me - if the contents of the box seem damp, yes that is from me drooling all over everything. I'm doing my best to restrain myself - there's a lot of REALLY nice cabbing material in the box as can be seen from the pictures. Sorry everyone - at first pass I think I'm keeping two slabs - one is the coral from roy I selfishly cannot resist ... I'm surprised that one didn't stay in Kentucky I'm also keeping one of the shattuckite slabs from rxscram. I'll gather up some nice stuff for the box and post some pictures later.

The box had a little bit of space left in it - so I squished in bag of about a 3 lbs of trim/scraps/rough for the tumblers. The box is sealed and ready to go as soon as I get the address. The window is closing fast - we're taking off for Quartzsite tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon - after that the box will have to sit here for a week.
