I have absolutely had it with Photobucket! It's a complete madhouse (even when it's "working," which adds a strange new meaning to the word.) I just wasted half an hour trying to upload two images and found I couldn't copy the information I needed for the link because of some cute new software that made it disappear before I could get my cursor over it.
I really wouldn't mind paying a reasonable annual fee for an ad-free, trick-free, reliable image hosting service. I no longer trust Photobucket in any of those categories.
Suggestions for a new hosting service anyone? Bear in mind I'm somewhat "digitally impaired" though I can maneuver through reasonably straightforward instructions. Thanks in advance for any helpful tips.

Let me guess, you use your phone instead of a computer.

You could always buy your own domain and use it to host pictures.

Funny thing...I just went into Photobucket using Firefox with its adblock enabled and it behaved very nicely. Yesterday I was using IE and I've never had such an unpleasant experience with any other site ever. Simply awful! Still looking into other options though. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Ha ha, Photobucket definitely on the fritz today! I notice a lot of avatars missing, including mine. I don't think using Firefox is going to help that problem.
Good thing I also have a Flickr account. I am pretty much fed up with all of the pop up ads on Photobucket.

try drop box free no adds I love it It's only free up to a certain limit. I've already maxed mine out in one upload session and didn't even get to upload everything!

Gemfeller, I agree I used photobucket for a decade on a computer with no problems. Recently the time waiting for pictures to save after a simple crop or add a text is forever or doesn't even work. I start to realize I could of cut another cabochon already. I found the photo software cds that came with cameras from awhile back I never used. They didn't work with the new computer . I'm still looking for something new here as well
