You are welcome, Jeremy txrockhunter . Glad you enjoyed them. You might say I found "a" desert coral, can't swear that it is the same one that I was looking for before, lol. I picked through several five gallon buckets of corals yesterday, picked out the best, and half way filled a bus tub. Those, GA corals from James, and more stained glass rocks will comprise the next batch. 45 more years of material? I wish only that much! The rock pile on the patio is only one of about six locations of rocks here. (I know it doesn't look it, but in this photo, the pile is pretty well organized. It is now about double the depth, including all the way to the shed, and halfway out onto the patio, lol.) I have rocks piled in the front yard, in buckets in front of the house, on the other side of the shed in that photo, just to the east of the patio in the back yard, and on a huge metal rack against the house on the patio. The ones in the rack are mostly non-local ones picked up at shows, estate sales, etc. Okay, my feelings won't be hurt if you call me a rock hoarder, lol. Will venture outside in a little bit to continue playing with rocks, putting the next batch together. @shotgunner , the "stained glass" rock (what we call it) is from Ocotillo Wells. I don't know exactly what it is, but it is hard, probably a jasper of some kind (since it is not clear like an agate). Most are smaller than a hickory nut, but I have a few as big as a hen's egg. I hope I don't have as many fractures in the next batch, I guess I was lucky that they didn't cause scratches in the polish this last time. No, I have not started working. Wish it was that easy to explain. Don't worry, I won't go away. I'm not that easy to get rid of! I've got more rocks to polish. Jean

How do you still have room for that 55 gallon drum of pennies?

ETA - Doh, I took a pic, forgot to attach it.
Now, do you see how I get all caught up in the forum, and don't get anything done? LOL.

Thank you, John. It was fun (although the vibe is noisy, lol), wonder why I haven't been doing this for years?
