I suspect that piece was made by a modern Knapper, I have seen quite a few similar modern made. It is too large to be actually usable but the size is popular with the modern guy's as a way to show you can walk the walk so to speak ! In the back ground there is a tarp on the ground with some rather large flakes and what appears to be an ( Ishi ) stick laying close by. If that is the guy that made it, he did a good job !

Can anyone send me an e-mail address so i can send some pictures of some amazing Petirfied wood? Maybe someone can shed some light on these fossils...I'm not sure what i got...but im sure they are special
