I spent the weekend in Frankenmuth Mi. which is one of the largrest tourist towns in Michigan. When we checked out of the hotel today and left the building I seen this rock right at the edge of the landscaping rocks. It could not have been any more in plain site. No idea how it was never picked up. I could not believe it so after I looked it over I glanced at the rest of the rocks but none of them even looked like local Michigan gravels at all. This pudding stone did not belong there so I re-homed it. Chcuk

Joy. Lost puppy finds home. I have thousands of pounds of pudding stone but still get excited to find a nice 3 ounce nodule. It is a sickness. Chuck

That's a nice little guy. I look for rocks in landscaping rocks all the time. Did you eat some chicken in Frankenmuth? Buy some Christmas ornaments? Go on a waterslide? Buy a beer stein?

They had some great snow sculpting and ice carving shows this weekend. Skipped the chicken dinner at zehnders and stopped at kid rocks restaurant in Clarkston on the way home instead. It was featured on diners and drives awhile back. Great food and atmosphere if you ever get a chance. Only a few minutes off I-75 www.unionwoodshop.com/Chuck

That looks really good. I love smoked meats. What did you eat? Did you fess up and tell Kid that you stole his name for your business?

I got the half chicken and my wife always gets the pulled pork there. They smoke all the meats right out back. I don't think I am stealing any business from him using the name likeness. Chuck
