There are lots of uses for the "small" tumbles. Just ask my wife! Lots of projects and even more silicon glue. I wonder how much smaller these will get if you tumble them to the point where the pits, chips cracks, etc., disappear? I would be interested to see if there is anything of value left from the initial investment (cost of the lakers).

I won't tumble them any more at all, these will be dumped into a big tub of tumbles I pull out of for kids or even adults who want any. The cost is justified to get people or kids interested in rocks.

I love looking through little ones like those. You just never know what you might find. I would just tumble in a little borax or soap to get the AO out of the pits.
