Good stuff, Rob. Liking the fancy jasper and it's hard to go wrong with Bots. I had a lot of impact marks on the river tumbled Bots from rocktumbler.com, before they ever went into the tumbler. It took a while to get rid of those. Your tumbling process may not be to blame, if you are seeing any of those blemishes after polish.

Rocks in fast moving rivers like Montana agates in the Yellowstone River. Even small 1 inch Montana agates have those half moon bruises. where is Botswana and what river do those come from ?? Not much over 5000 feet altitude

I think Garage Rocker bought the rest of them.

I didn't get them all, Rob, but I still have about 10 lbs. left for a rainy day.

Little 1 inch hard agates like that must have been in some fast moving whitewater or some other violent natural event. Looks like garage is major stock holder of the Botswana. Being a major smuggler...

Awesome!
My bots are just starting to get interesting with the husks finally getting worn down!
I'm jealous of your Petoskey and pudding stone hunt. Someday I'll jump over the pond to your side to do a hunt! I ended up buying a rough water worn Petoskey and a pudding stone at Prospector's Paradise in the Keweenaw with the hopes of making it shiny but after a coarse grind the Petoskey has a severe pit in the middle so off to the rock garden it went with the rest of my Lake Michigan and Superior rocks.

If I have a large pit, I just cut or break it along the cut and polish up two smaller rocks.
