Why not? I talk to my 4 legged family members and my plants. Also rocks. Specimen quality rocks need to be appreciated. I just speak to the rock in general, not any faces or other features I see in it.
Explanation on why I talk to rocks. A long time friend gifted me a special rock. She had received it from a Medicine Man, 30 years ago. It was removed from the base of what is now Mt. Rushmore, long ago. At the time, this was a sacred area for the Sioux. It has been passed from person to person for over 200 years. One is to keep it as long as they need it, then give it to another in need. This Blue Quartz stone is needy. It needs to be appreciated and have other compatible stone friends near. It needs to be cleansed, regularly. But what it offers to its caretaker is amazing.
So talking to stones is not a strange thing in Native and metaphysical cultures. I have been at many Native ceremonies involving rocks. I have collected rocks under the guidance of Tribal elders. I have returned rocks to their previous locations, based on guidance from Tribal Elders. Yes, I am Native American and relish my heritage. My tagline here says it all. Listen to the rock. The rock knows its destiny. It will guide you in fulfilling that.
If fulfillment means returning it to where it should be, no problem. If it means, leavin g as is and appreiating, no problem. If it means giving to another, no problem.
I listen to my rocks. They guide me on what I should do with them.

It's not a problem until you start talking to the faces 😏 Sheesh Mike, I done got it all wrong then, I was listening while they talked. The Big Crazies tell me they are having a good time here in Arizona compared to Chihuahua. Back in the day the ground was not stable and the earth trembled and there was lots of nasty stuff flying around so they decided to hang out in limestone tufts till it passed over. Seems reasonable, I guess. Anyway, I was always taught to respect my elders and since these they guys are over 65 million years old, I listen. Wanna know what language they speak? Here is a clue: They are saying, "Forget the night. Live with us in forests of azure. Out here on the perimeter there are no stars Out here we is stoned - immaculate." Hats off to rockpickerforever for the insight............................ Cheers, johnw

Throwing this on here. What do you see? Reminds me of a cave painting, but also of that scene in The Matrix where robot claws tend to the vast fields of pods containing human "batteries".

It's like this, there are no doubt, some alternate gender stones, like this one, that have expressed an attraction to the stone in your post. It seems the attraction is that they both chew with their mouth open. Cheers, johnw
