Instead of vomit bricks lets do a brick of scabs and skin diseases MsAli. Janke shards that have a lot dark side colors. Scabs, disease, guts, vomit. Prime marketing adjectives ? What is that group that gets together in the Sci Fi world ? They have big get togethers in major cities, lots of costumes like a giant halloween party. sort of a monster fest Many of the shards in the scrap glass pile are not suitable for cabs. Let's try a melt. Will have to figure the best way to saw for most color patterns. Could be a flop, will see this morning

Uh, maybe I better let my 22 year old nephew take this glass thing over. He's a big strapping handsome fellow with a good head on his shoulders. My Mom passed a year ago and some of their totally positive comments make me think of Mom. Different benefits than rock n roll groupies may have to offer lol. Lots of positive feedback and that should make you proud and confirm that this will be successful Getting a poll for sure. That is a very complimentary group though. Mostly ladies, you guys like that shiny colorful stuff. I joined a glass fusing forum. They don't normally tumble stuff. Have not had time to post there. But am very curious to get their feedback on tumble polishing glass.

I think you better let your wife do the marketing for you(laugh) Aigh.....Think Pretty words...Not vomit and scabs "Alien Skin Soup" looks to be a failure. Too much clear glass to cut jewelry yet maintain rich color density. But great bases for added color injections. Won't know till sawn, but gut says failure. There is another way to skin an alien, will stack shards(skins) flat and give another go. Going to have to go thru a wholesale outlet for fuse able colored glass. It is very costly. Continually lacking in color density. Janke turned me on to his supplier, problem solved. Bought gold mine classifiers. Starting to sift entire glass pile bucket at a time to 1/4 3/8 1/2 3/4 inch sizes. Will take a couple of several days. These small sizes are great color sources after sorting them by color and size, then crushing. Colors in rare patterns better yet. Color and size organization will make this all easy.

Need to see it sawed up, but I think you'll be able to use it. Could be good for the goth/steampunk/fantasy crowd.

Need to see it sawed up, but I think you'll be able to use it. Could be good for the goth/steampunk/fantasy crowd. Some of these are doable MsAli. I will add background color at re-melt to increase effect. Using egg shell colored glass. hummingbirdstones: "Infectious Alien Skin Motif". Good call, very much Sci Fi. This time instead of collapsing vertical blown shards to horizontal the shards got laid in flat which increased the layers of color density X3/X4. Thinner shards, much more color and closer together. Laid in neatly like flat bricks. Will saw across the horizontal direction to split the shards back up as they were laid in. Shards smaller so more like checker boards laid in on top of each other.

Definitely doable. Love the yellow and purple together thanks. I'll do that combo again. Got yellow background material, can add a bit of highlight.

I'll collect up some yellow and purple glass MsAli and put them together like this piece. Is this a popular color combo ? Gotta start paying attention to now colors.

Have no clue if it's popular, just love the colors together. What's that rainbow looking little piece?

Have no clue if it's popular, just love the colors together. What's that rainbow looking little piece? OK kids, this block was made by stacking the shards. Average shard 1X1.5 inches. All shards from high dollar hand blown vases. Then sawed the same way they were laid in after melt. My favorite brick pattern to date. Well, there are some white shards in this bunch. White stands out. Serves as an excellent backdrop for color sprinkles. I have tons of white shards blown in every pattern imaginable. Was putting them in the trash section. Not now. The white shards could be stacked flat too, with intense sprinklings of color chunks and sheets between each layer. Then sawed. That will be today's melt.
