Define "head doctor". No, better yet. Don't. So wrong
I went out and beat bamboo shoots down with a broomstick(with one arm) for a few hours instead. They are popping up everywhere. So the bamboo won't take over the whole farm. Last week I was carrying a bucket with me on the ATV and it got stuck between me and the gas lever. Took off rapidly. Needless to say it climbed the greenhouse and flipped backward on me so I am now a one shouldered person. Shoulders already have torn cuffs, just great. Hope it heals. Maybe shoulder doctor has priority over head doctor.

Shoulder doc before head doc although there probably is a reason for your "lip" obsession that a head doc wouldn't cure

Maybe later an appointment w/the head doctor ? I am not saying a word Pat said, "I wish you well with your lips". I guess I put myself in several awkward positions.

Should have had the surgery back when I was closer to ummmm your age. They don't like to heal. I think they just keep on tearing. And the worse your physical shape the more you become aware. Not to mention healing is slower at ummmmm age.

this was a strange event that never happened in 20+ litters. 11.5 year old Gi Gi just happened to be having a false pregnancy during milk stage. Gi Gi HATES puppies. However this time she is broody and wants to service the pups and love on them. Thankfully the 4 year old Mom respects her and did not have a problem with Gi Gi playing Mom. Gi Gi wishing they would come see her. Mom nervous about her presence Mom finished feeding and leaves, pups fat happy and lethargic Finally they make their way over to Gi Gi, she's happy. Normally she would be growling full bore and running fast as possible,

About time you shared with us, James. Are there eight or nine? Looks like eight above, more recent pics nine.
Funny how Gi Gi has mellowed with age. Good thing mom is down with it.
Cute pups (as always), James.

Mom was getting tired of them as they have teeth lol. Timing was good. Mom would have run Gi Gi off a week before this. There are 9. They are having there first day outside and seem to be adjusting. They will defoliate the outside pen like hogs, they always do. Coyote population has picked up, hope we don't have issues with them.

Dad said "ur fine, just spot on it and get back into the game." Never saw a doctor. Just lived with it as was for 23 years. Shoulder issues when kidlet was 2y/o and MRI revealed this injury. One surgery foxed it for a few months. Now 20 years more later. I am paying for it. Get it looked at.

Problem has been since 1997 - no 6 month period ever existed for recovery. Impossible for this self-employed. Quite nursery this year and problems attacking from not being as active. Nursery work kept it usable thru light and medium exercise. Wish I had 6 months.

Got a strange response from the glass forum. This yo-yo has no concept of fusing glass from other sources. He can probably fuse polish store bought fusible glass. But glass from all over the world has as many heat schedules as varieties of glass. No way you can fuse polish rogue glass with unknown temperature needs. It gets a vitrified nasty surface far from a polish. That must be mechanically tumbled off and then tumble polished. Hell, it is challenging enough to fuse polish store bought glass. "Re: Polishing any fused glass in a rock tumbler Postby Edpal247 » Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:26 pm Not to be a buzz kill, but you just publicly revealed your proprietary idea. Not seeing how this is different than what many people already do, using rock tumblers or vibratory laps(me). Tumbling is really slow way to get a final polish - hundreds of those chips could be laid on a kiln shelf after the initial tumbling and taken to a nice glossy kiln-polish in less than an hour of ramp time. I mean, if they are less than 1-1.5" across, you can ramp them as fast as your kiln can go both directions and stress is not a factor. At that size." This was the response from one of the charter members: "Hi Jim. To skip right past the story about tumbling, I want to say that you have some great color work in so many of your glass pendants-to-be! Surprising and fun glass. Especially since you are new to this medium. You made me smile w/delight. I will review those photos when I'm looking for a kick start. Re-check some of those possible fracture lines. Thanks for sharing. Joyce" Thank you Joyce. I think Joyce saw the light. Funny. And I am buying vases that cost average $2/pound where store bought no-pattern fuse glass is $5 to $10+/pound and is in short supply due to EPA regulations. And some of these vases are from some of the finest artists in the world with colors and patterns that could never be touched in a fusing kiln. I restrained from posting a retort to Edpal247. Let's watch Mr. Edpal try to tumble polish glass with the "exposed proprietary idea". Should have gone captbob on him.

Ironically the wife walks in just as dander was rising from Mr. Edpal's post. With a $6 Polish blown vase @ 4 pounds from Goodwill that would smoke any pre-pattern glass purchased at the hobby store for 20 times more money. Perfect center clad color layer just asking to be reduced to shards slumped and tumbled. Can't wait to get hands on it. Extraordinary. Speaking of wife, she's been at the kiln about a month now. I'd put her on Edpal any day of the week in a fusing contest, you go girl:

Time to go to market. Pumped, lots of money and time invested. Venue is the famous Inman Park Art festival this fine Saturday and Sunday with fine weather. Should be close to 100 jewelry dealers. I will carry a man purse with 300-400 pendants with labels on the back of each pendant and hand them out. Well, marketing ain't free. Jewelers that make jewelry related to my products will be scrutinized and samples given more generously. This is a lot of fun and I enjoy this type of marketing. Food, drink, crazy folks, fine weather, cool art on display, exciting and lots of action. 73F and sunny both days. Can't go wrong. Wish me well my lapidarian brothers and sisters. If interest ensues a Wix website will get built for upcoming festivals. My labels to stick to the back of the pendants: inmanparkfestival.org/booths/street-market/inmanparkfestival.org/booths/arts-crafts-market/How did you do at the festival? Did you sell a lot?

Hi Ann, I only passed out samples to juried jewelers. And most of them have their own mediums they prefer to work with and ya can't blame them for that. Met some cool folks and learned a bunch. Learned those jeweler people were flat out making some money !! Binge buying out the yen lol. Betcha had I entered I'da done fine.
