jamesp Ran across these at Jo Anne Fabrics today, on clearance. They had 5 colors, but I only bought 2. Ended up costing about .15 each, as they were in pkgs of 10 or 12. Only round available. The disk portion is about dime size. I used wire cutters to create an angle downward. Then filed and sanded the rough edges smooth. Also roughed up the back of bail and glass. Applied stone/metal epoxy. After a couple of hours, I cleaned up the cab and bail with acetone. Photo of back, says I have a little more clean up to do. The back of bail is smooth, just looks rough in photo. Need to find a better way to cut these bails to the correct shape for a variety of cabs. I have a metal cutter that is basically like a heavy duty, old style, paper cutter, but with a twisting mechanism on top to lower the blade. Thinking that would work, and could do several at a time. It leaves a clean, angled edge on metals up to 1/8” thick. 1 2 3
