Hi, I found this picture of what I am looking for on the web, sadly I have not been able to find the owner, so I am asking the RTH members do you have anything in your collections that comes close? This one weighs in at 44 pounds and is 15 inches wide. Please post pictures if you do and lets do a deal. Cheers johnw

If you are lucky enough to find one like that, maybe I can get you to sell me a couple slabs. Very nice! You have good taste, sir.

That looks like the piece of agate the guy who has the Youtube site "Pulitzer Opal" did a video on.
You may be able to contact him in the comment section of his video.

Johnw, do you want it as a specimen or to slab? That picture looks like Laguna lace. I bid on and won a large piece of Laguna on ebay and slabbed it. I thought I did well until I noticed a lot of healed fractures that showed up and they detract from the cab designs. I didn't get a lot of usable material after a lot of work. I might start looking at ebay again at some point.

OP, his website is here. His email address is on the bottom of the page. Perhaps he can provide info about his source, though according to the video, it sounds like he's had that piece for 12 years. Good luck with your search.

Thank you very much for providing this lead for me. It is indeed the piece that I posted and I have enjoyed the video and how the owner processed the sample. I have a great deal of appreciation for you taking the time to show me this. All my very best. johnw

What are the graduated dimensions from the base to the top sector, say, every two inches. I kinda got the image sorted, but would like to hear from you. Cheers, johnw

Do you want the rock or a picture of the rock to use as your avatar? Hello again, I have a picture of a sample of Mexican lace agate that I found on the web in a public domain that I am currently using as my avatar. When I have crafted such a sample of my own, I will change my avatar. Cheers, johnw
