Yes ma'am, I'll take pics of what I put in. But I have a dilemma- a good friend ( manofglass ) is helping me to build a cabber. It may take a while, but I'll get there. Therefore, I really would like some of the slabs in the box to use in the future. Hopefully everyone is ok with that. Pictures of what you take and what you put in & I see no problem with you taking some slabs Knowing Walt it will take a long time Kidding Walt! Sorta There are a few larger slabs and from what I've read it's ok to take part of one and send the rest on, right? Also, it's probably going to take a while to be able buy the parts But it's exciting, it will be fun

MsAli No picking on Walt. I think he does great and in a very timely manner. I will admit, that when I received the last box, I took a partial slab. Only because it was broken in half. Took one half and left the other. It was high quality material. Just take what you feel you could use and put in what you feel others could use.

I picked three of the smaller slabs, when I get finished I'll post pictures. I'm resisting the Arroyo Jasper because I feel someone else would definitely do it justice better than me and it's so nice. Also resisting the jade/nephrite for the same reason, I really like it also. I'm super glad that I participated in this. It's one thing to see all of the stuff that it has in pictures here on RTH but another thing entirely to see it in person. Not having been hooked on rocks for as long as most people, getting to see, hold and inspect it is a real treat.

When I received the last one, it was utter joy. Just to be able to hold and photograph some of these amazing items. I am sure some will consider your contributions to the box amazing and unique opportunities.

Who's to say that someone else is more deserving? YOU are. When I first got here, it was more plainly stated, I think, that the box was a great way for people who never had a chance to work some of these materials to get a chance to work with it. Don't be shy. I know most boxes end up with more than they start with because don't want to take too much and then put more back in- because RTH rocks! But, seriously, as long as you are replacing rock, then by all means try something new to you.
