My employers plans are almost a go. Long, 1 year process. Yes, zoning is a worry. Only one of many.
I want to see a photo of the totem handles.

My employers plans are almost a go. Long, 1 year process. Yes, zoning is a worry. Only one of many. I want to see a photo of the totem handles. Ditto on the photos! A warning on the eating. The taste buds change over time. Nothing tastes as good as it used to. As as a teen, I was an A&W Root Beer car hop. Loved that stuff! Now? Not so much. Back then it was made using the root bark of the sassafras tree. The Government made that illegal. Perhaps that is part of the taste change for that item.
As for the rest, Ugh, do I have to?
Loss of teeth makes for chewing problems that don't help. Aging ain't for wimps.

Tumbled chicken. Hmmm. Diced and marinated in sugar water. Sounds like a holiday recipe, but I agree, great read. Thx James.

Speaking of food here's a conversation starter I use sometimes...it goes like this: "You've just been banished to a deserted island for the rest of your life and you can only bring one food with you... forget about health and common sense... what do you enjoy so much you think you could eat for the rest of your life?" Mine is popcorn...pizza would be a close second What's yours?

BBQ ribs and chicken or Chinese food. Though probably chicken. You can do so much with chicken.

Miracle Whip. I might even eat a bug if it were dipped in Miracle Whip. 😋

It's just not right to serve turkey and dressing a few times a year, that would be my choice.

1dave I had dug you some sassafras roots in the mountains and never got around to sending them. When the hardwoods leaf back up in spring I will dig some more and send them.

From prison I will thank you! Apparently the gov't. found some type of carcinogens in sassafras. It is rarely used anymore, just an imitation form.. The mountain folks seem to live forever and can work your dinger into the dirt. They continue to drink sassafras tea.
