Yeah, when a cutter gets that good you just cut 'em however you want.
Working from the edges of a piece with that many bubbles wouldn't reveal anything about what was going on in the middle.

I plan on getting some finger cots to wear. About 1" long. For those who have never heard the term, they are the little pieces of rubber with nubbies on them. Shaped like the end of a glove. Main use is to assist in turning pieces of paper or sliding paper into plastic menus. Thinking these would help protect fingers and also provide added grip. fernwood: Amen, finger cots come in several sizes and are used also in the aerospace industry for handling ceramic wafers.
