Chances are, it's wood... But it looks toothy/tusky to me... take a gander with a strong magnifier, especially on that end.

Good pictures!! If you can take it to the college and get them to look at it, you might find out more. Be interesting what they say. I t may be a piece of quartz.

Thanks, those were just with my phone. I think taking them outside helped. Either way, not sure I would tumble it. There appears to be a lot of fractures.

Agree, see what you can find out at the college. Maybe slice into rounds and polish, but not in tumbler.

I would just take one slice off the broken and keep the rest whole as a specimen.
