Coupla coats of white paint, you won’t even need to turn the lights on. : )
Heated space? Either way, good luck at the new place.

Funny you'd say that - the white paint is ready to roll before even the electrical gets done. Nope no heat but this is CA after all. Our winter is almost over already haha.

Have fun designing your new space! Is it much bigger? My machine wall is twice as long as I've had previously. It's also an expansive two car garage vs. the 1947 era single car I've been in up till now. So yeah it's freakin HUGE haha. I don't get all of it though - it's gonna take years to sort through all the crap stored there taking up half of that big garage.

Wishing you a safe move. Wonderful opportunity to set up a new, much larger space, as you want it.

So, by the end of the day things were certainly a bit messier than when the day started lol. I'm excited about pulling all of this back out, painting, doing electrical, hanging lights, building a second work bench for my peripherals that have been just kind of scattered around where I could find room for them - two flat laps, trim saw, etc. The new bench will be the same length as the one my grinders go on so I'm going from 6' of bench to 12' which I'm totally excited about. I also have to finish plumbing on the sink, put up shelving, set up my work desk. When all that's done I get to haul up my big ole dirty saw and probably 12 milk crates of rocks... SO much to do, so little time.

I hate moving. We moved seven years ago and I still don't feel like I'm finished settling in. Good luck.

Having recently finished dong that myself I can't say I envy you. The best part is when it's done-if it ever is.
