Kai Here’s one 100 ct piece. It has one tight crack in it. It has about 9 stars on it when viewed from different angles. They’re formed in metamorphic Schist under a huge amount of pressure. Because of this they have a lot of internal stress. It makes them very heat sensitive, especially large pieces. I actually felt the crack release when I was polishing it. I kind of wish I would have left it like the picture. It would have been one of the largest high quality Idaho star garnets known.
