I have a chance to buy some nice stained glass. Can I and is it easy to cab? Never cabbed or cut glass before. Thank you. I hate cabbing it. I do alot of glass and it is a pain in the butt to get a great polish on it with cabbing wheels. I fire polish mine in a kiln and Jamessp polishes his in a vibratory tumbler. Vic

The only glass I've done is obsidian, and I can get a good polish the same way I get it on jade -- a light touch, less water, and let the polish wheels get hot.

While cutting stained glass, I cut the side of my thumb badly. Healed well. Met an experienced stained glass designer. She wore cotton gloves with rubber on the palm side; looked like gardening gloves. Excellent idea!
