My son has had a violent version of the flu for a solid week. I keep trying to get him to see a dr but he refuses. I am mostly over it. I feel like I have cracked ribs from coughing so much and have zero energy, but I'm getting better. I'm on an immune suppressing drug and was really worried that I would get sick like my son, but I didn't. Hopefully, he'll start feeling better soon. He isn't living me, so I guess I was never exposed to his flu. A bunch of schools in the area had to close.

Somewhat better. Have moved from "I don't wanna!" to "Bah, humbug." Seems like you passed it on to me. I've been having anxiety attacks all day without any proper reason... Tis better to give than receive?
That's I hear you, I have been so anxious lately (OK, most of the time for over a year) that sometimes I wonder if there is anything left of me besides my anxiety (and its twin, depression).

A kid in town has scarlet fever.

The nurses and some others here wanted to close the schools down to get a handle on it around here, but the Superintendent didn't want to do it. So it just goes around and around.
