Beautiful choices! Good to see you.
My selection is comparatively poor—- a bag of rock jelly beans! Yum!
I’ll have to make up for it tomorrow. 😄

Great finds! The black angel wing reminds me of some white plume in black holding agate that I was told was from Horse Canyon. I've also see some black-bodied agates from Idaho and north-central Oregon, but none with as crisp plumes. Yours is drop-dead gorgeous. Second one, I'm wondering if it may have started out as a fulgerite that later agatized? The outer texture and the way the agate filling interacts with it made me wonder. Perhaps one can have too much Needles Blue - but I'm not sure many will agree.

Should add that your second specimen looks like some Florida coral.

Wow! You you picked up some nice materials there! I agree with Pat on the second one being Agatized Florida Coral (Tampa Bay).

Nice score, Tommy! That first black plume is absolutely killer.
You did real good on that Koroit boulder opal. The piece on the bottom left with the nut in it is going to cut a killer cab and the small piece of it on the top should make a nice ring stone, too. Remember that cutting boulder is very messy and the iron stone stains like the dickens. The light baby poop yellow is probably going to undercut in a lot of spots as it tends to be soft, but the dark brown and the red/brown will polish real nice for you.

Score.
The second one could be coral.

Wow! Some of those one offs are to die for and the first one is killer! I see some great cabs coming from you.

First one is definitely Horse Canyon. I've had identical stuff from there. Last two green mosses look to be from there too....Mel

Loverly things, especially the pink and blue. This lot will be challenging but good.

Thank you all for the ID's and confirmations. I never would have thought the black plume was from Horse Canyon so wow... it is weird that such a rare piece would be sitting unceremoniously in a scrap bin but then again so was the Needles blue and all the nodule slices - all of it except the two moss agates and the id#3 piece were in the same scrap bin. Two lessons learned - some people have no idea what they have and it pays to be the early birdie.
