As most of you know Michigan Pudding Stones are my favorite self collected material. I have tumbled hundreds of pounds of these over the years and they still frustrate me more then any other variety of rocks I have ever tumbled. This material cabs great but undercuts horribly in the tumbler much like a granite. I bet I have tried dozens of methods over the years utilizing every type of tumbler, wet, dry, different polishes, different amounts of time etc... While I am always left unhappy with the results they still sell faster then I can replace them. Here are two finished batches that have been sitting on my workbench awhile Thanks for looking Chuck

They also take forever in the first stage, at least for me. I think those batches look pretty good.

I can't seem to see any defects in those pictures, Chuck. They have a great shine and look wonderful.

Are you sure you didn't wet those for the pictures?

Nicely done, I know those are difficult to tumble

Nice. Can understand why they would sell quickly, as they are unique. Those look great to me. I tried polishing some cabs in the rotary. Undercutting was not as bad as I expected, but it was present.

I always admire your puddings tones Chuck. You sent me a couple and I tumbled them and ruined them. They take a fine touch and you got it man!!!

Totally outstanding, I have heard from others how finicky they are. You make it look easy. Your defiantly a tuff act to follow.

Wow, they look so amazing that if I saw them being sold I'd say it was a plastic composite! They're surreal!

Nice polish Chuck. I can almost read the writing on the light bulb reflections.

They look terrific! There is definitely something special about those stones! I've only tumbled one. LOL! Someday, I either collect or find a good source to do a nice batch.

Those sure look great, especially for a tough material.
