After some conversations with aDave last week I was motivated to toss some more agate halves in the tumbler. These are always a fast, easy and fun tumble. 1 front 1 back 2 3 4 5 front 5 back lit 6 7 8 This one is pretty cool. The banding kind of breaks through the surface and then fades away under a clear agate top. 9 10 11 12 group shot to show a bit of shine

All beautiful, but esp. that #3 piece with the sagenite + fortified banded section!

Those are lovelies, Chuck. Particularly like the pastels of #11. A Moctezuma? Great job on all.

They are all beautiful, but I love the first one! Nice selection of agates for us to drool over.

Those are great Chuck Drummond Island Rocks , so thanks for tagging me. I've got a test batch of condor agate halves going right now, and I'm pleased with what I'm seeing thus far. Your assistance was very helpful. I've got about 6-8 pieces of what I would call junk going. Small saw nubs are the issue, as I did not grind them. If these turn out the way I hope, I'll start working on my remaining pieces which don't have nubs. The matrix on my rocks is pretty soft, so mud is definitely an issue. I have figured out a way to get through that, so I've got high expectations. I appreciate the help.

These are fun. I've been doing a few like this lately also and I love them.

I’m still loving these. Number 4 is different than all the others. I keep being surprised by the variety of colors too.
How much longer are we going to be able to enjoy new shows of these? Your supply must be getting low by now.

Beautiful. I like the one with the little crystals in the center. I've never found anything like them though, but it is nice to know that they can possibly do really well in a tumbler.
