I was wondering if anyone knew the trade name and locale of this rock? It appears to be a chert/chalcedony combination agate with an exterior of possibly weathered Tripoli exterior ?? This was part of a collection I purchased last fall that had many various slabs, rough, and polished rocks and minerals. Last photo taken using long wave uv light Thx.

Thinking Stoney Creek or Stone Canyon. Brecciated and beautiful piece that looks river worn. Guessing.

Interesting...So Stone Canyon looks to be in the Hills of north western LA- Bel Air area, with a reservoir and park to the north with that name. Is this the area these are named after?
