This weekend, I went exploring an area close to my house that I haven't been to in while. El Cajon Bay has some interesting karst formations. There is a large sink hole in the bay, and some little canyon type sink holes along the shore. It's a really pretty place.

Thanks for the nice walk, enjoyed it a lot. Looks a lot like this area except for the limestone. A walk in anyones woods on a nice day is a good day.

Just what a guy with a busted leg and a knee scooter needed. No walks for a while, so appreciate you taking me along. Sitting on a bunch of limestone here, so I've hiked in similar looking locales, minus the bay.

There are a lot of caves in her area. We were allowed to explore one, but my flashlight started flickering soon after we entered and we got out quick. I’m not sure why, but there don’t seem to be caves in Michigan, just sink holes.

Speaking of KY and limestone - one of my favorite of the memories created while spending a few summers on my grand parents farm was about once a summer we'd get to hike through the forest and up to a really cool cave and natural spring in the cliff out back of the house. As a California kid drinking the well water on the farm was about as bad as the outhouse we had to use - so that spring water tasted mighty fine indeed. Great video Jugglerguy, thanks for taking us along.
