Had to drive past today, so left early for appt. to check things out. Saw my friend who works there. He said to take what I wanted, as their grinder cannot keep up. First are photos of what I took. Then some new slabs they have. Everything I took. The largest is about 16" maximum, the most I could lift. A couple of ovals. The bottom one is a composite material. They are grinding some Larvakite scraps and mixing them with a propriety material. Said that this resin makes ground up natural rocks as strong as composite Quartz material. Am thinking it should work great for cabs. I have more of this material. More scraps. The one on the left is more green than it appears. It is the largest one I took. All of these are natural. More scraps. The one on left is a large piece of Larvikite from or Norway. The large triangle one contains lots of sparkles. More scraps. Close up of the larvikite composite. More close ups of materials I love. If you are even near Plover, WI, stop by Stone Innovations on HWY 54 East. Talk to them in the office. Chances are they will give you permission to dig through their scrap pile. Here are some of the slabs that would be my dream counters. Still waiting for a ouple large slabs that have both gray and natural tones.
