Just a few pics from the latest batch to finish. We set aside some particularly nice rough to eventually cab. Al

I love this stuff and yours looks great. Is it really petrified stromatolite?

Very nice polish!!! I doubt I have ever gotten a polish as nice with a cabber on this stuff.

Very nice polish!!! I doubt I have ever gotten a polish as nice with a cabber on this stuff. We had only worked with it once before and that was only a few vibe tumbled pendants in a mixed batch. They turned out well but that was a very small sample size and the slab they came from was very nice. I had read some older posts/threads on the forum about people having trouble polishing it. It definitely had a different feel to it during cleanouts and I still had my doubts about getting a decent polish after running the 1000AO stage. Though once they started running in polish they started to shine up fairly quick. Al

I think I'll have to revisit mine and see if I can coax a shine out of them. Very nice!

I first met kambaba in a gift/rock shop in a southern state when daughter and I were driving home from South Carolina one glorious summer day.
I collect various types of serpentine, and had been keeping my eyes open for Birdseye serpentine.
Pointing to the splotchy green rock in question, I asked the clerk if that was Birdseye serpentine.
Well, yes, she said, and proceeded to describe its obvious virtues.
Days later I regaled my audience with the new addition to my serpentine collection. 😄
Practically in chorus, they informed me “kambaba, Pat! Not serpentine”! 🤪. Good to have knowledgeable friends!

I like Kambaba so much that I recently got close to 200lbs of it. Seeing that it can tumble so well is a bonus.

Nice work on the rocks, Al. They really came out shiny. But I like the extra large one in the back the best. For some reasons I like large rocks like that for the garden. What a great find. Thanks for sharing!
