The Montana fractured when I put a little pressure on a fracture line. Better to find out before using the saw and I trimmed it a little. I made a preform from another Montana slab. I saw an interesting scene on the slab I cut the previous Owyhee cab and didn't know what to do. I decided to cut two 40x24 pears and flipping the orientation on the second. It was a tight fit so I cut some vees to make the separation cut more accurate. The first Owyhee preform has a nicer scene.

This what is left from the slab: The thinnest part is over 3/8 inch and it was bought with an incomplete cut. To the left of the diagonal line is about 3/4 inch. If I sell the first one. I'll even and cab the preform.

Since I had the saw out, I changed the shape to improve the orientation and scene. I tried to complete the cut on my trim saw but still need to grind a few millimeters of the other side of the lower left area. Grinding it down, I might get more blue/gray on the right side of the tip.
