Did it come with a label? or did whoever you acquired it from say what they thought it was?

Hi fuss, No clue and this material is from a yard full of rocks that are not marked and the owner passed. The guy that owns all the material now has no clue what any of the rocks are. He inherited them from an old rock shop. I slabbed the material but thought it was Turquoise originally because of the stabilization.

Chrysocolla is often stabilized, too, but something says turquoise to me.
