Being a noob I’m curious about the white areas on those amethyst. Is the white part quartz and the purple part the actual amethyst or are both colors considered amethyst? Either way they look great as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Either way they look great as usual. Thanks for sharing. From Wiki >>> Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. The name comes from the Koine Greek ἀμέθυστος amethystos from ἀ- a-, "not" and μεθύσκω methysko / μεθύω methyo, "intoxicate", a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness.[1] The ancient Greeks wore amethyst and carved drinking vessels from it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication. Amethyst is a semiprecious stone often used in jewelry and is the traditional birthstone for February.

Being from Ontario (Canada), I can tell you that we have beer, wine and spirits what will defeat any amethyst crystal''s powers. LOL
Beautiful shine on those stones. Good job!

Great rocks and my favorite beer Moosehead is made in Canada. I’m gonna have to look you up if I’m ever up that way. Though with my luck, I’d probably get get chased off by a pissed off Sasquatch for stealing his rocks.
