The slab looks like a bunch of thunder eggs glued together. Amazing formation. I too got the itch to casually do some tinkering with the vibe. Hope to try vibe polishing some softies like fluorite, serpentine, etc. Keep up the shows !

jamesp I love that stone! Holy cow, it's gorgeous! It's a Thunderegg? It is certainly unique Perigrine. You have great taste. You may have to chain Chuck and pull out a cattle prod up to pry his source out of him. Sure nuff looks like a bunch of miniature thunder eggs glued together. Needs to be researched for sure.

jamesp I love that stone! Holy cow, it's gorgeous! It's a Thunderegg? That is Australian rainforest jasper. The material is actually classified as a rhyolite and the voids are sometimes filled with quartz and even agate as seen in my photo. Chuck

"Rainforest jasper can be used to invigorate or renew your emotional state. It brings hope and positive energy to alleviate depression or lethargy." I am not usually on board with the meta physical rock stuff but I think a batch full of polished rainforest jasper may actual do what it says for me. Then again a nice batch of just about any polished stones does that same thing, LOL CHuck

Dino bone can have those tiny agate filled cavities in the marrow tubes too. But many of those cavities in your stone have a thunder egg star surrounding them.

Oh I have ways of being more persuasive than cattle prods. Mostly I taunt with tacos, but I don't want to give away all my other methods.
