It's spring time for the Sarracenia Pitcher plants.
I'm so excited to see them open up with many more coming.
It's the first years I have all these divisions blooming - very cool.
But if my 12 blooms this morning got me so happy, I'm wondering what hundreds are blooming at jamesp ?? Hint, hint.....

Very cool!! I know this is lame, but I love seeing my hostas come up. They grow so damn fast!! I just love hostas. I think I'll get some more varieties now that I think of it.

Not lame at all, hostas are cool & I remember when I lived up north how fast they grew & filled in areas. The variegated ones are especially nice. Here, my turtles eat them as soon as they come up , so I never get to appreciate them.

I had several hundred where I lived in New Jersey. Here in the Northern Sierra mountains I have just one. The variety is Hosta 'Guacamole'. Fragrant flowers and a really nice leaf color. Do you have any of this variety rockjunquie?

I love the yellow ones and the blue ones. I have several green varieties and variegated varieties. I love when the flower spikes shoot out and line my walkway- plus they smell good.

Tommy Yep, I make it. I grow a lot of muscadines in the mountains. They grow up into the timber like kudzu. Everybody wants another gift of it. It is good to me, fortifying. I do make it stout, so it keeps like brandy.

Tommy what about the tractor? Not sure what you mean Nate but I was just trying to be funny. Everything is changing these days and we went to buy a riding mower and found out now they are called lawn tractors
