I am a green horn to this ! I bought a Harbour freight 10 inch wet tile saw . That saw runs at 3800 rpm . I was planning on buying a 10 inch MK301 for trimming . The blade is not designed to run that fast . Harbour Freight sells a speed control for routers i believe. Has anyone run a speed control on a tile saw and how well did it work ? Thank you for time

Not knowing the configuration of your tile saw, I'd suggest you consider changing the drive or driven pulley size to accomplish the step down of rpms. Some motors can handle the other approach to speed control, but some can't.

I’ve been planning on buying the 10” Diamondback tile saw from Harbor Freight, but the saw is 4000 rpms. Don’t want to blow close to 400 bucks if it’s not going to work for me.
Are there 10” blades that I can use at that speed?

Are there 10” blades that I can use at that speed? I bought a 10 blade at Harbour for 40 bucks continuous rim and it will cut . The thing is its pretty thick compared to a MK301

The mk 225 is a blade listed as porcelain blade but rated good for hard stones like agates. As a porcelain blade it should be totally fine on a tile saw (read porcelain tile). I and others here have had great luck with this blade -- it cuts for years and does not dish as do less sturdy blades. It should work fine for you.
