Well, after 5 years of almost constant rocks, tumblers are silent, saws are off, need a break to get rejuvenated. This time of the year my interest goes to my garden if you haven't noticed.I will have a great tomato crop if nothing major happens. These rows are 6 feet apart, and have grown together on the lower end. I have counted 40 tomatoes on some plants I put this on the sandwich thread the other day,my first one, rye, swiss, bacon and tomato sandwich, with Miracle Whip! I hope I get back on the rock thing, got too many to quit now. snuffy

Hey James,a long time ago a fellow told me which ones made the best fishing poles.I believe he told me the female stalks were the ones to use. Now,are the stalks with the large hole inside the female? Or the small hole? Folks,I aint trying to be dirty here!! ;D

We had a discussion yesterday about the spreading of bamboo. I started a clump about 35 years ago behind a large garage detached from the house.Iused to live here years back, just went and took pics. This is the entrance to the garage.Where is it now? Oh,its still there! snuffy

I'd also use a strip of felt paper between the treated and regular wood as a moisture barrier too. I use cedar 2x4's in situations like this, mainly because I got a bunch from a job they were gonna throw away. ;D

I'll be driving steel posts into the ground and chaining at each corner. I have a little more work to do first. I decided that I've gotta slide pressure treated 2x4's under the bottom plate to get the white pine off the ground, that stuff won't last long down there. I'm also gonna dump a truckload of gravel under the entire enclosure. Good.I was wondering about the lumber sitting on the ground Was gonna recommend that or letting it sit on 4 inch hadite blocks to get it off the ground.Just didn't want to seem nosy! ;D snuffy
