Cool. If you're referring to the pink stone, it is not coral.

Might be small for what they want, but can imagine the price for a blue of that quality in the thousands of dollars. Never seen blue that big! Can't say I'm aware of the price since I hardly buy rocks much, but my client is an airlines pilot so if he wants it, he can easilly get it so long as the price is fair. Downside to him being an pilot is it takes a while for a reply when he is out for a week at a time or so. Yep, we all spend money on what we want. Good luck on finding the piece!

geezer and nursetumblerI do have more of the coral, TX flint, and root beer agate and will post after this box is gone. The only difference is whatever other cool rocks get thrown in to round out the box. Let me know who wins the current one.

Todd what are the great green rocks on the right The really big one is root beer agate - a transparent brown agate with a green rind/crust. But I think you're referring to the smaller, chunky pieces below it. I have no idea, but here are some close-ups that might help someone else identify them for you. The first has a lot more green in the clear agate. The second is more of a green moss agate.

Total of over 16 pounds. For size reference, the Polish Flint is about 2.5#. The biggest rock, I believe, is Kentucky Agate - no distinctive banding, but nice blues and yellows, was self-collected in an area known to produce the Kentucky Agate. A few pieces of crazy lace agate, TX flint, Mary Ellen Jasper, and a few pieces sent to me as banded flint. $65 includes shipping in the US.

My experience is that flint hammer-breaks very easily. If it fractures, it breaks apart - not leaving a whole rock with a fracture in it. The tumbler takes care of the rest.

Toad, did you look in your sent box? When you send the first PM in a series, messages sent don't show up because the inbox is the default, will show first. I've missed them like that before, very disconcerting, until I figured it out. Ah, thank you. I'll look there the next time I send a PM.
