1dave Get your butt to the Dr. my friend! Better to be in debt and alive than dead and debt free! I'll be paying a long time for my recent hospitalizations for the ticker, but it's better than the alternative!

I have noticed lately that many things on Amazon can be bought elsewhere for less money, so shopping around is a must. I rarely buy anything on e bay and have found I'm money ahead in the long run, and less stress to stick with the suppliers I have used for years.

Still in limbo and in the hospital. The Angiogram showed zero blockage in any arteries which was a huge surprise to me!!!! I've eaten fatty foods, fried foods and anything I wanted all my life, so if anyone should have clogged pipes, it should be ME! They wanted me to stay tonight and see an Electrocardioligist tomorrow to figure out the fluttering, extreme variable and Often very low heart rate. Pretty sure a pacemaker is on tap soon. Good news. Cholesterol build up though is not from saturated fats or even high cholesterol. The later is why 50% of heart attacks occur in people with normal to low cholesterol levels. The plaque formation is the result of arterial inflammation, which has numerous causes (free radicals, high blood pressure, insulin damage, xanthine oxidase from dairy, high homocysteine due to decreased methylation or low thyroid, etc.). The cholesterol, which is a healing agent, floods the damaged area as a "patch". If the source of the inflammation continues so does the plaque formation. Low heart rate is often the result of hypothyroidism, which is frequently missed in lab tests for a couple of reasons. This can also lead to arrhythmias due to decreased oxygenation to the heart muscle setting up ectopic pacemakers (heart cells that try to act like nodes). Heart rate can vary for the same reason or fluctuations in the adrenal output of epinephrine. But that generally leads to increases in heart rate. Electrical blockages they would have seen in the ECG. If you get a chance I recommend looking up basal body temperature and doing readings for at least a week. Along with symptoms of hypothyroidism (weight gain sometimes, cold hands and feet, fatigue, constipation, cold intolerance, hair loss-not male pattern baldness, cold intolerance, dry hair and skin, etc) this is a much more effective method of detecting cases of hypothyroidism. Won't hurt anything. Have a fun time with your Christmas when you get out of the hospital. Iv'e been on thyroid meds for about 3 years . labs a month ago were perfect as was all the tsh tests while in the hospital.

Got home last evening. Several things combined to kick my ass. Fisrt, they found I have a bundle branch block so some times my heat flutters . I have been drinking way too much strong coffee, plus have been stressed getting orders out in time for Christmas. The overload of caffeine combined with the stress affected the already weird heart functions and it finally let me know it wasn't happy. They also suspect my sleep apnea contributed to the problems. I've long suspected my nrw BiPap wasnt functioning properly , but the sleep center couldnt find a problem. The really good news is that I have zero crud in the heart arteries. That is amazing considering all the fried foods I have eaten all my life!!! Cut out most of the caffeine and reduce stress should get me back on track soon. The bundle block is no big deal by its self, but some life style changes are in order so it doesn't cause a repeat of what just happened

Looks like all that good 'ol country cooking finally caught up with me! Came to ER Saturday moring and they admitted me for tests . Stress test didn't turn out well, so need an angiogram to determine the amount of damage. Have to wait until Tuesday due to the holiday and short staff. It sucks spending Christmas in the hospital, but they want me to not go home in case I need a jump start.
Merry Christmas to all, and stay safe if traveling

I used to use a sniping tool that automatically placed your bid in the last one to five seconds. The developer sold it and the new owners wanted insane amounts for the one year subscription. They soon priced themselves into oblivion. They figured out too late that folks who snipe on e bay are not going to pay $50 per year for a proghram to do it for them.

These were in a box I picked up at an auction and if anyone can use them, you can't beat the price! FREE!!!!! #1 lots of old and assorted wire, mostly silver plated I believe. Looks like maybe some silver solder in there as well. There is some corrosion on the largest hunk, but the majority should clean up ok. maybe 14 or 18 gauge? GONE!#2 Many 1.5 inch buffs for Foredom or Dremel. No mandrel for them, but they are cheap and readily available. GONE!#3 Assorted tools. Wooden hammer/mallet with worn out leather cover. Bezel burnisher and what may be a scribe or needle punch. It has a chuck, so could be used with other inserts. Appx 2 dozen saw blades. Looks like maybe size 2's or 3's. If you don't want/need the mallet, shipping would be easier GONE!I started to toss everything, but then thought maybe someone could use the stuff to practice or play with. Tela will be along shortly to post pics for me. Thanks Tela! Forgot to add, it's almost Christmas, so I will even cover shipping!!!!! Edit: Right now I'm busier than a one armed paper hanger, so may be a day or three before I get it boxed and shipped.

Thank you for the generous offer! I think it would make a cool and interesting conversation piece in my displays, so please message me paypal or other payment preferences. Please let me know when, where and by whom it was collected so I can make a small plaque with the provenance

So...the early settlers in North America played bocce? Sort of. Also a game similar to La Crosse which used stone balls. This one is much too heavy for any La Crosse type game. It would have to be rolled on the ground or great bodily harm would likely result! I can't see that much effort and perfectionism going into this to be used as a mere weight for a net or such. Except for the natural pits in the Granite, the remainder of the stone is quite smooth either from polishing, or natural wear from use as a game ball. I am becoming more and more intrigued with this piece!

In the photos it doesn't look very close but in person I believe it could be a match. There is an abundance of pyrite and in hand it looks a lot whiter with a granite texture. I have not researched the Mount Rushmore stone but there may be better photos on the net. Jim Hmmm, could be. Thanks for posting those! It would be fascinating to know the history of this ball and how it ended up abandoned in N.E Missouri!
