I don't have a saw to cut this but might end up taking it to Jerry's Rock shop in Kent to get it slabbed up because I bet it will produce some incredible slabs. If I were to sell the rough as is, shouldn't I be able to get at least $20 a LB? Thanks

I might make it down there, 3 hour drive here. So is it mostly slabs/rough/thundereggs by the bucket/lbs for sale? I just saw the ad as well, is it really 12:00 afternoon start time or should I show up at 8-9am?

Thank you guys for the input on the ID, I believe Roy is correct, I forgot all about the Ochoco moss agate types. My favorite of the group I got is the bigger of the 3, moss1, must weigh 10+ LBs. It doesn't beat the super bright blue/green moss/tube agate though, I'll have to post those another time.

I recently bought these at a local estate, anyone know the locality of these? I think they were probably found in Oregon, but where or name? Any info is appreciated, thanks. moss1 moss2 moss3

I have a 10 LB? rough of something very similar to this but not sure if it is Bloody Basin, I'll have to take a picture/post it on forum. I also have a definite BB 1+ LB? cut rough that is one of the best I've seen(came from different collection) which I'll post a picture of. Nice slab btw

Thanks for the information Quailriver, this does indeed come from a very old collection dating back to the 60's. I know it is not Carey Plume but check out this picture I just stumbled upon, very similar looking but with a black dendrite, It has those little white inclusions in it as well. Says it is from Manganese Dendrites in Agate from Crook Co., Oregon, USA.

I have Chinese Dendritic Jasper, I know you said in same ballpark but yeah it is not that. If I were to cut a thin slab of the best material of Chinese Dendritic Jasper it wouldn't even be near this translucent of this thick slab.

I just tried scratching it with my Kershaw knife, didn't leave a scratch.

I agree with riverbendlapidary which is a lot better than having a big piece of low grade crazy lace..

Thanks for the information, I think you're right with saying Bull Canyon, I was thinking Bull Canyon as a possibility.

Thanks for the comments everyone, riverbendlapidary, I have been so tempted to buy your Sonora Red Plume Agate on the bay, it is some of the most killer looking agates.
